Marketing can be a kind of “4 letter word.”
We think sleazy late-night infomercials or those guys that corner you at their info table at the local grocery store.
But for any organization to grow, let alone stay alive, you have to “market” yourself.
Are you out there hustling, but feel like you’re running in about 100 different directions?
Then I recommend starting here.
There are a ton of things to add along the way, but this is where you can build a foundation.
Think of this as the skeleton of how you spread the word about what you do, and get people involved.
BUT WHAT ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA, AND PAY-PER-CLICK, AND PRINT ADS, AND (fill in the blank) ??!!
If you’re really concerned, then I’d tell you to put those somewhere between steps 3 & 5.
TIGHTEN UP THE TOP
You’ll see a compounding difference over time because your ads will actually bring people in and convert browsers into buyers.
Otherwise, you’re going to…
- Waste a ton of money
- Get frustrated with your business
- Begin to question why you went into business in the first place
